The Process: How We Get You Married...
1. Phone or Video Call
This is all about seeing if we are able to work together to get you married. Planning a wedding is time consuming. So, let's have a chat and make sure that we can make this happen before we organise to meet in person. You can ask any questions that you have. After this, hopefully you'll be in a position to decide if you would like for us to work together.
Availability
You tell me when and where the wedding will be (if you know yet). I can check my availability.

You Get to Know Me
You can hear a bit about me and ask any questions that you might have. You can also get a feel about whether I am the type of person that you are after to be your celebrant.
I Get to Know You
You can who you are as individuals and as a couple. I love to hear about how you met and how you got engaged. You can also share the vision that you have for your big day.
2. Initial Meeting
This is where things get real! We get to planning your wedding ceremony! We complete some legal paperwork and we wil talk in detail about your vision for the ceremony and all of the intricate details. You might have this all sorted in your mind or you may have a lot of questions. I am able to answer questions, prvide guidance and suggestions/ideas, if you are looking for inspiration.
Legal Paperwork
I will ask you to bring some ID and some completed paperwork along. We can get this signed and completed together.
The Vision
Share with me your vision. What type of ceremony do you want? Formal? Laid-back? Somewhere in between?
The Bigger Details
We'll talk about the venue, number of guests, wedding party members, family involvement etc.
The Smaller Details
We'll talk about ceremony structure. The entry, the exit, possible music, readings, rituals, personal vows etc. We'll also confirm my package inclusons etc.
3. Writing the Ceremony
Leave this part to me! I will write a completely personalised ceremony based on our conversations, our meeting and by now, I would have also sent through some questionnaires to both of you - so that you can provide me with some meaningful and interesting information that will support me in writing the perfect ceremony for you.
Your Information Used
No two ceremonies are exactly the same. It will be all of your individual details, information and anecdotes that will be used.
Guided By You
The 'type' or 'feel' of ceremony that you have discussed with me will form the basis for the writing phase.
Seen or Unseen?
The final script can be shared with you prior to the wedding. OR you can choose to hear the final product for the first time on your big day. This is up to you!
Legally Binding
All of the necessary statements and wording will be included to ensure that at the conclusion of your ceremony, you will be legally married!
4. Final Briefing
This is able to occur online or over the phone. We'll talk through all of the logistics prior to the big day. I can talk you through all of the more intricate details of the ceremony. You can ask me questions and provide me with any final information. The aim is for you to leave this feeling calm and confident - and that everything is in place and ready to go!
*Some couples may choose to do this as a full rehearsal. We can discuss this throughout the process.
Logistics
Finer details of the venue. Weather forecast. Confirmation of the role of everyone for the ceremony etc.
Questions
You can ask any questions that you may have.
Advice & Guidance
How to walk down the aisle, where to stand, how to hold the microphone, how to do the ring exchange etc.
Confident Confirmation
We confirm that everything is in place and you are ready to get married!
5. Wedding
Your big day! This is where the magic happens. This is where all of our meticulous planning comes to life and we execute all of the elements of the ceremony, as planned.. And most importantly, this is where we create those special memories that will stay with you and your guests forever.
Warm & Professional Delivery
You can be assured that you and your guests will feel welcome and engaged in the ceremony. Your ceremony will be articulated clearly and effectively. And through the use of my high quality mic & PA, nobody will miss one word.
Management of the Space
I will ensure that all members of the wedding party and guests are where they are meant to be, if there is anything else that we have planned, I make sure that it happens.
Flexible & Adaptable
What's the old saying? Expect the unexpected? Should anything 'left of centre' arise on the day, we will be all good! I can pivot, if needed.
Legal Paperwork
Towards the end of the ceremony, we will get all of the relevant paperwork signed. Myself, you two and your two witnesses will be included here.
6. The Paperwork
No need for you to do anything at all here. Leave this to me! Once you have signed all of the relevant paperwork at your ceremony, I coordinate all of the follow up to ensure that you are legally married.
Marriage Certificate
You will have been provided with your Marriage Certificate at your wedding ceremony.
Official Documentation
I submit all of the relevant paperwork to Births, Deaths and Marriages. Aaaaand... we are done!
